Glenwood Location
Nested on the western edge of the Gila Wilderness
in southwest New Mexico. Located on Hwy. 180, 70 miles north of
Silver City and 30 miles south of Reserve. Approximately equal distance
(250 miles) from the major cities of Albuquerque, Tucson, Phoenix
or El Paso. Glenwood is approx. 15 miles east of the Arizona border
and 150 miles north of the Mexico border.

U-Trail is located 11 miles north of Glenwood on Hwy.
180. Traveling north, turn right (east) 1/2 mile past mile marker
41 -- just before a bridge. Traveling south, turn left (east) just
1/2 mile past mile maker 40 -- just after the bridge. Follow U-Trail
signs and to Wild Horse Mesa, just a short distance to the mesa
top. |
